Overview
Report system UI design is a one-month project I did in 2018. It is an internal system for LTS sales to manage orders & customers, as well as tracking inventory and communicating across the team.
My Role
I’ve worked as the UI Designer for the Report System. I collaborated with a Product Manager, a Software Engineer to wireframe, visualize and improve.

LTS is a B2B mechanize company to sell security cameras and equipment to dealers & installers. In order to maximize the efficiency of the sales team, the report system was created to help salespeople manage the orders and customers. As the company scaling up in mid-2017, the total branch number reached 18 across the U.S., and the needs of getting a connected system across different branches become urgent. So do the warehouse inventory management system.
This redesign was a one-month project based on improving the usability and scalability of the current Report System, help for the followings:
- Visualize sales data for management purposes
- Updated inventory information across different branches
- Sales live communication tool
- Tracking & shipping integration
- Calculator for discount & shipping
Kit of Parts
The main goal is to better visualize the existing functionality of the Report system. In order to achieve this, I used the kit of parts design idea to separate information into moveable cards. Salespeople can customize their dashboard and better fit their working preferences.
