Brand Case Study
Deep Sentinel For Business
Overview
This is a 2-month project of how we integrate the SMB market into our business, we analyzed the needs of the potential users, designed the app and targeted ads to make sure the business launch is ready.
My Role
I worked as the Product Designer of the Deep Sentinel Business Program. I collaborated with a Product Manager, a Team of Marketing and the Development Team to gather needs, create features for the app and ads set.
Design & Research Tool Kit
Goals
- Ability to do the scheduling for services.
- Brand & marketing supports.
- Ensure brand consistency.
Target Business Types
The initial launch of business services is mainly focusing on the Small Business type. We listed a few types in our advertisement to help potential customers visualize the case.
Covered Crime Types
- Robbery
- Violent Behavior
- Loitering
- Threaten
- Break-in
- Auto Theft
- Vandalism
Scheduling Tool for Business Hours
The scheduling feature is critical for business users, mainly for two reasons:
- We offer services for the after-hour period, so it’s important to update the business hours to better maximize the use of our service;
- For special holidays, business users might want to customize whether they need our service;
To accomplish this, we added the “My Business” feature under setting page, and enabled users to add regular business hours as well as to set special opening/close status.
Colors
In order to create a sense of simplicity and peace of mind, as well as align with the current residential Deep Sentinel app, we chose to “pale” down the app color and keep the “Black Russian” as the status change color.
To better address the business feature, we introduced “Pale Oyster” as our index color, applies to highlight, buttons, as well as headings.
Banners & Ads
A series of banners and ads to support the business launch emails & online paid ad sets.
